Standing Rules of Shelton Rifle and Pistol Club, Inc.
- Dues:
Club yearly fees range from $50.00 senior working member "basic dues" ( 20hrs a year voluntary work for the club
and its programs) to $150.00 family non-working membership. The club dues prorate according to your
membership and the time you join the club.
-Club Service obligations:
A. Each senior "working" member and all junior members must contribute a minimum of 20hrs per year toward
the fund raising and work party activities of the Club, i.e. either toward senior or junior division programs. Family
working memberships requires 30 hrs per year. Active duty military may have their service hours waived , if they
are station outside the area. A work planner is to be submitted at the first of the year or when first applying to the
Club.
B. Working members who fail to meet their service obligations, will have their service hours deducted at the rate
of $3.75/hour. There is a maximum credit of $75.00 per member, per year.
C. It shall be the members obligation to verfy with the Activity Chairman or Junior Division Chairman that credit
for their participation is recieved.
D. The elected officers of the club shall be credited with 8 hrs of service per year. The elected Trustees and
appointed committee chairman shall be credited 4 hrs of service per year.
E. New Membership approved between Jan. 1 through Spet. 30 will have their service obligations prorated at the
same rate as their dues.
Jan. 1 - March 31 = 20hours
April 1 - June 30 = 15hours
July 1 - Sept. = 10hours

F. New memberships approved after September of any year will not be required to meet the service obligation for
that year. But are required to neet the obligations for ensuing year.
G. Any dispute over service obligation hours worked may be appealed to the board of directors for final decision.

If approved for membership, I agree to uphold the purpose, rules, regulations and objectives of
the Shelton Rifle and Pistol Club , Inc., as set forth in the Club By-Laws and Standing Rules or
otherwise adopted. I further agree to subscribe to the NRA Pledge which follows:
